Waters & Bridgman Marketing Solutions in Newport News, VA announces the opening of Waters, Bridgman & Gallop Marketing Solutions in Wilmington, NC. WB&G will focus on developing effective, results-driven campaigns and projects for businesses in and around the Cape Fear region of North Carolina.
Sandy Bridgman, CEO of Waters & Bridgman is enthusiastic about Gallop and the Wilmington market. “Jeff Gallop is the perfect person to begin our new venture. His market-knowledge and customer-service approach fits in perfectly with our firm. Integral, partnership-like relationships with clients is why we are one of the longest-standing marketing firms in Virginia.”
Gallop, former General Manager of WECT, the NBC-affiliate and WWAY, the ABC affiliate in Wilmington, has a history of helping businesses grow in the Cape Fear region. His experiences over the past 15 years have also allowed him to create marketing strategies for over 800 businesses in more than 50 cities across the country. “I’m excited to take what I’ve learned through my travels and implementing it with businesses here, through a consultative, and results-based approach,” Gallop said. “Howard Waters, Sandy, and I have been talking for years about expanding here and we feel the timing is right to open a marketing firm that can provide all of the services that modern businesses require. Traditional marketing efforts should be integrated with internet and digital marketing to be cost-effective and successful. Waters and Bridgman has a stellar reputation in Coastal Virginia and we intend to earn that reputation in Southeastern North Carolina as well,” Gallop added.
W&B partner, Howard Waters added, “When my dad founded the firm in 1960 he couldn’t have imagined how the business has changed over the past 50-plus years. We have always adapted to those changes and we know that businesses in a growth-oriented area like Wilmington will appreciate that Jeff and WB&G can provide them the entire array of marketing services to aid in their success.”
Jeff Mendelsohn is CEO of Virginia Health Services, a longtime W&B client. “When we started working with Howard’s dad we owned one convalescent center in Newport News. Today, we own seven convalescent centers throughout the region, two assisted living facilities, a retirement residence, a rehab company, a home health company and will soon provide hospice care. W&B has been an integral part of our success,” Mendelsohn said.
Initially, Gallop will be working from tekMountain at 1844 Sir Tyler Drive in Wilmington.
